Hello, in today’s post, we are going to tell you our trip to London during the first year of degree.
On June 2016, we decided to go to London. It was our first time, and it was very exciting. We were about to visit Razvan’s father (Michael) who is currently working in the capital of England. We arrived to the Heathrow Airport in the evening and the first thing to do was having a coffee and a tea at Starbucks. Our impression was “It is amazing, we are in London”.
After, we took a train to the Michael’s apartment and we left all our luggage. Through the apartment’s window we could see the wonderful city of London. Instead of watching the city in the television, we have saw it right in front of our eyes! Our journey started the next day.
In the next morning, we travelled to the Museum Of London, which contains more that 1,1 million objects. Chronological galleries with original artefacts, pictures… about the British culture. Isaac was very fascinated by the old swords an the other middle-age weapons.
Madame Tussauds was the best place we visited. It’s a famous wax museum in the middle of the London City. Celebrities from the past and modern history have their wax-figure. We spent hours at Madame Tussauds. During the rest of the day, we visited historical places like the House of Parliament, St. James Palace and The Tower Bridge.
As we know that there exist many cultures in London, the city offered us a variety of food. We tasted food from different countries such as: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, etc. Of course, we had some traditional British food, especially in Rules, which is the oldest restaurant in London.
For 7 days, we went to different places around the city. We were impressed with the people in London because they were so polite, respect each other, discipline, and we can sure you that they showed us, many positive attitudes, that can’t make use hate their country. Moreover, the cleanliness of the city, was astonishing. London is always clean. Much respect for the city of London. We had an unforgettable trip.
